Colorado drops to 4th in foreclosures nationwide - The Coloradoan reports that Colorado foreclosures, which were topping the nation for 9 of the last 12 months, have dropped to ranking fourth in the U.S., according to RealtyTrac. Detroit has replaced the Greeley Colorado region as the #1 foreclosure-ranking region in the U.S.
North Carolina Foreclosure News
According to the Milwaukee Business Journal, N.C. foreclosures are down 26%. The article goes on to state that despite the year-over-year decrease, January 2007 foreclosures in North Carolina were up more than 40.5 percent from December 2006.
Texas Foreclosure News
The Dallas Business Journal has an article showing that Texas tops foreclosure report. The article quotes RealtyTrac as showing that Texas tops the nation in the number of new foreclosures — 14,728 new filings in January 2007. This increase is just 1% more than January 2006 though.
